Skin exfoliation/microdermabrasion is defined as the removal of surface dry skin cells. Exfoliation can be both facial and body treatments. Clearing away dead skin cells improves its appearance. If done regularly, it increases the skin’s ability to absorb moisture, which will keep it softer and less prone to wrinkles. Regular exfoliation also reduces the risk of wrinkles.
This are two kinds of skin exfoliation:
Mechanical-The dead skin cells are physically rubbed off with an abrasive for example with a body scrub or a facial scrub. Typically, the darker your complexion, the better able your skin is to resist environmental assaults and the more slowly it ages. Here are Some Disadvantages on How Different Skin Tones Age
Dark and medium toned skin has a denser population of pigment melanin, which produces uneven discoloration from sun exposure. Whereas, light toned skin is prone to sunburn.
